Don’t Put Clubs Away!

Ladies don’t put your clubs in moth balls just yet as the Winter League will commence very shortly. This is the ever popular and fiercely contested team event over 9 holes stableford with eyes on the prize of the Christmas hampers! (sorry for mentioning the “C” word in September!!!)
Ladies the list will be in the Ladies Locker room very shortly and note that if you are not on the list when the draw is done there will be NO additions to the teams!!

Centenary Ladies Competition

The presentation of the Centenary 18 hole stableford repeater took place on Monday night and our thanks go to Maureen of Mementos of Castleblayney for her generous sponsorship on this event. Doli Maguire claimed first prize  with a delightful 38 points having parred most of the par 3’s in her round. In 2nd place Brid Finlay with 35 and 3rd Noeleen McCague also 35. Noeleen also claimed Section B with 33 points. (as it’s a repeater you can win more than one prize!) Section A went to Mary Trant 34 points and  Section C was won by Celeste McKiernan 32 points. Well done ladies

Matchplay Cups

The presentation of the matchplay cups to the winners and runners up along with the Golfer of the Year and medals etc will take place on Friday 18th October at 8.30pm. A complimentary supper will be served and all the ladies club are invited to attend including our learner ladies who will be contacted shortly.
