Play in 9 Holer

Ladies, Maureen Lynch did a lot of work to get the 9 holer up and running again as it was “by popular demand” but it doesn’t appear to be that well supported. Remember you can play any day, it’s over the “old 9” it’s a repeater (one card per week to count) and its only €1 to play! We congratulate the first 2 weeks winners Roberta Hamilton 18 and 21 points respectively and Senior winners Joy Cassidy 21 and Noirin McKenna 16. So go on give it a go, you never know!

Charity Stableford

Sunday 27th July (if you didn’t have too late a night at the Captain’s night!) or Thursday 31st July (imagine ladies July over!) the ladies compete in an 18 hole stableford charity event. Fee €10 prizes sponsored by Helen Connolly, Kathleen Leonard and the club.

Ladies Medal

Thursday 24th July the ladies compete in an 18 holes stroke medal DRAW with prizes sponsored by Eilen Kerr, Mary Trant and the club. As you’ve probably noticed the locker room is currently being refurbished, the competition entry unit is in the dining end of the clubhouse.

Ladies Honour Captain Paul

The ladies competed for the Captain’s Prize to the ladies last week in near perfect conditions. There were of course the usual nightmares for some of us but the winning scores were very respectable. Well done to winner Geraldine Fitzpatrick nett 71 beating Rosita McCabe on a countback into 2nd place. Elaine Hamilton had the best gross with 87.
