The numbers drawn on 2nd of September were 3, 9, 14 and 30 and there were no winners of the 3,000 jackpot now standing at 3,100. Ladies play Saturday 7th September until Sunday 15th and the men’s competition is Monday 9th September until Sunday 15th. The Joe Elliott Cup Competition takes place this weekend, Sat/Sun. 7th, 8th September. This is a Golfer of the Year Competition with a time sheet in operation.
It came down to the last ladies Golfer of the Year competition with Lady Captain Collette McCahery sitting pretty having carded a fabulous nett 72 however Roberta Hamilton carded a nett 71 and claimed the vital 10 points to ensure victory by 3 points and is delighted to win her first Golfer of the Year accolade. Surely it won’t be her last!

The mixed matchplay is getting to the sharp end and Helen Connolly and Pat Ryan await their opponents whilst Paddy McKeown and Noirin McKenna will meet Packie McCarville and Irene Rooney. These matches will decide the final.
