Match Play Update

The mixed matchplay competition has now reached the finals stage with Roxie and Tommy O’Harte against Patrick McCarville and Irene Rooney. We wish them luck and would like to thank all pairings who took part in this year’s competition. Mary Trant beat Elaine Hamilton on the 18th to win the Barry McGuigan Matchplay trophy, it literally came done to one putt! Finalist in the Rose Bowl Brid Finlay awaits the winner of Roberta Hamilton-v-Geraldine Fitzpatrick.

Lotto

The numbers drawn on 11th September were 2,3,5 and 23 and there was no winner of the 4,100 jackpot. The 5 lucky dippers each winning 20 were Pat Mullen Newbliss, Kiala O’Harte Clones, Gerry Traynor Ballybay, Angela Smith Kill and Rosaleen Maguire Clones. Well done to them! Sadly our weekly take has dropped again so we would ask all members to sell a few and buy a few, it’s a vital part of the club’s fund raising! Only one euro or one pound and 6 tickets for a fiver! There are a hand full of people that sell the majority of the tickets and it would be greatly appreciated if everyone could do their bit. This month’s sellers prize of €100 is to be donated to the Hospice Appeal.
