Congratulations to Helen Connolly winner of 2018 Captain’s Prize to the ladies with nett 74 this was the last Golfer of the Year for 2018. In second place was Catherine Farrell 76 and the gross went to wife of the Captain Rosita McCabe 93. Conditions were very tough for both the Sunday and Thursday players as reflected in the scoring.
The Golfer of the Year for 2018 result hung on the last competition with Mary Trant just one point ahead of Elaine Hamilton. Mary had a poor round on the Sunday and Elaine tried her hardest on Thursday to no avail having a score just one shot worse that Mary! In the end Mary Trant had 46 points having led from the start and who managed to score points every week. Elaine was second with 41 having missed out on scoring in two the weeks. So Congratulation to Mary Trant Golfer of the Year 2018.
