the 18th/19th May.
Ladies Matchplay Update
So far all 3 sections in the interclub Matchplay competitions have been successful and are through to the next round. Well done ladies!
GOY Points
The next Golfer of the Year stroke drawn will be on Sunday 19th
May and Thursday 23rd May with prizes sponsored by Nuala Browne, Ann
Keating and Anne McCarthy. Plenty more Golfer of the Year points up for grabs. 10 points for best score, 9 points for next best score regardless of category etc.
3T’s Stableford
The annual 3 T’s stableford takes place on Thursday 16th May. This is a very important fund raiser for the 3 T’s fund entry €10. The winner will travel with the winner of the men’s competition together with the Captains to the final. Ladies if you are unable to play please make your donation regardless. Thank you. Noeleen Headed for Day Away
The winner of last week’s stroke Medal competition was Noeleen
McCague 77 and her prize is a day away at an open day of her choice with Lady Captain Roisin Kerr courtesy of the ladies club. Roisin also had a net 77!! Have a great day ladies wherever you choose to go.
Matchplay Competitions
The dates for entry to the various Matchplay Competitions has been extended, the draw will now take place on the 20th May, so gentlemen
please enter your name on the sheets posted in the locker room.
Open Wednesday
The result of last week’s Open Wednesday Competition is as follows
1st Donal O’Reilly (44pts)2nd Paddy McKeown (41pts) and Seniors Frankie Dolan (37). We would like to see more support for this Competition
Ulster Fourball
The first round of the Ulster Fourball took place on Saturday last on home ground to Mannan Castle, the team Captained by Pat Ryan got off to a
good start taking four of the five matches, however Pat is under no
illusion as to task that lies ahead of him and his team in the return match
which takes place on Saturday. Good luck to all involved.
Pierce Purcell Qualifier
The Pierce Purcell Qualifier took place on Sunday last with 13 teams competing, the Clones team captained by Pat Connolly qualified for the
next stage of the Competition and now go forward to play our neighbours
Rossmore in the Slieve Russell.
