Mad Women?

Remember last Sunday, when it was blowing a gale force wind, and lashing rain and cold?! Well five of our ladies braced the conditions to play in the 3 T’s well done you brave, mad women….it’s for a good cause!

3 T’s

Ladies please do your best to play on Thursday 17th of May in the 3 T’s (Turning The Tide against Suicide) 18 hole stableford which raises much needed funds for this very worthy cause. Entry €10 please. If you are unable to play but would like to make a donation please do so. Prizes sponsored by Celeste McKiernan, Catherine Farrell and the club.

Mary Peters Trust

Last Thursday’s weather didn’t tempt many ladies onto the course to compete in the Mary Peter’s Trust so by the skin of her teeth Noirin McKenna’s score of 32 points was enough to win her the honour of going to Massereene with Lady Captain Veronica McGorman in August to play in the finals and to meet Mary Peters. This competition raises vital funds for underprivileged children to be given the chance to partake in sport. Enjoy the day ladies!

Alpha Bet

The letters drawn on Monday 7th of May in the Alpha Bet draw were GHQN and there were no winners of the 2,100 jackpot which now rolls over to 2,200. The 5 lucky dippers each winning 20 were John Duffy Clones, Aidan Howlin Cootehill, Teegan Maguire Clones, Kevin Boyle Roslea and Colm Cassidy Glaslough Well done to them!
