Teresa Hanawin and Mary O’Toole are in the final of the Junior Cup to be contested shortly.
Granard Cup
Congratulations to Brid Finlay and Irene McConkey who gelled well to win the Granard Cup foursomes with a 6 point advantage over the field with 37 points. These ladies will travel for the national finals to Hermitage Golf Club on 23rd August.

Change of Date for President
Please note that this year’s President’s Prize (GOY for men) will now be played on Sunday 2nd September and the Vice-President’s Cup will be played on July 15th. So a straight swap of dates
Granard Cup
Due to inclement weather the Granard Cup didn’t actually get off the ground (or off the tee!) so it will be played on Thursday 19th July. Make a note in your diary ladies.
Matchplay Cup Draws
The ladies matchplay cups will be drawn soon so ladies please put your names down for the Barry McGuigan Matchplay Cup (all handicaps) and the Junior Cup (27-36).

The Holmpatrick Cup is now underway please see book in men’s locker room for details.
J P Maloney Cup
Gentlemen the prestigious J P Maloney Cup will be contested this coming weekend on Saturday 21st April and Sunday 22nd April. Mixed Foursomes Matchplay
The defending champions John Copus and Lynn Whelan triumphed again winning the final of the Mixed Matchplay on Sunday against mother and son combination Ursula and Aran Dowds. Lynn credited their win to her trusty partner John who managed to always get them back on track if Lynn put them in any trouble. As a certain Mr. Connolly said “isn’t that why men are here? to clean up after the ladies?!” Congratulations to John and Lynn and commiserations to Aran and Ursula.
