The winners of the Breffni Shield Scotch Foursomes were Lady Captain Roisin Kerr and Ann McCarthy with net 74 and runners up Noeleen McCague and Veronica McGorman net 77. Congratulations to these ladies who will now represent Clones in Dundalk on the 9th of May.

Breffni Shield
This Thursday 18th April is the scotch foursomes Breffni Shield with prizes sponsored by Geraldine Fitzpatrick, Marion Foy, Elaine Hamilton and Brid Finlay.
Get Ready for Breffni Shield
The Breffni Shield scotch foursomes will be played on Sunday 14th
of April and Thursday 18th April. You will need to arrange a partner
and opposites.
Granard Cup
Due to inclement weather the Granard Cup didn’t actually get off the ground (or off the tee!) so it will be played on Thursday 19th July. Make a note in your diary ladies.
Breffni Shield
A great day was had by the Breffni Shield qualifiers from Clones when they travelled to Nuremore last week to play in the finals of the scotch foursomes. Well done to Doli Maguire, Elaine Hamilton, Mary Trant and Helen Connolly.

All Ireland Mixed Foursomes
Clones is again hosting one of the qualifying rounds for the All Ireland Mixed Foursomes on Sunday June 10th and Clones will set the bench mark by teeing off first at 8.30am alongside Cavan GC. If you would like to be considered to represent Clones please give your name to the team captain.
